On Friday, July 12, Champlain’s Continuing Education department celebrated its first Early Childhood Education (ECE COUD) group’s end of the journey and accomplishments.

The celebration kicked off with student presentations about their fieldwork portfolios followed by a potluck during which the students shared their homemade dishes.

“We are very proud of our students who are enrolled in the Early Childhood education program through the unique work-study initiative’’, said Navjot Bansal, the teacher guiding their fieldwork.

‘’The Work-study program (COUD) is a support program for educational childcare services to attract and train unqualified educators’’, explains pedagogical counsellor Reem Talhamy.

This collegial attestation of studies (AEC) paid program Early Childhood Care and Education alternates study and work each week. Congrats to this cohort on their hard work!
