A delegation from Champlain Saint-Lambert attended the 70th edition of the Harvard National Model United Nations alongside 1300 participants from 25 countries this month.

It is widely regarded as the most challenging and most prestigious conference the Model UN circuit has to offer.

It is organized by Harvard students and hosted at the Marriott Copley Place in Boston Massachusetts.

“The most amazing part of this trip was seeing the diversity in the people attending. Seeing people from all over the world was truly inspiring and opened our minds to various perspectives and new ideas we could express and share in the committees we all participated in,” said Champlain Model UN club president Mateo Alvarez.

“Additionally we had the chance to visit the beautiful Harvard Campus as well as follow a tour that marked some of its most remarkable historical moments,” he added.

“Overall it was a beautiful experience that let us experience some high leveled quality of debate and allowed each and every one of us that participated to grow individually but also as a collective group and come closer together.”

Congrats to the Model UN club on their success!
