Congratulations to Champlain Cavaliers volleyball player Alexandre Jetté who received a $1500 bursary from the Fondation Aléo.
The Accès Nouvelle Génération programme was launched in 2023 with the aim of supporting promising young student-athletes by helping them remove certain barriers to entry into high-level sport, such as financial, academic or even geographical constraints.
The Fondation Aléo’s aim is to recognize and celebrate this talent by encouraging perseverance at school and in sport.
Jetté, 20, is originally from Sainte-Julie, Que.
The Fondation Aléo’s Accès Nouvelle Génération programme has awarded $124,000 in scholarships and services to 63 talented young student-athletes.
Recipients benefit from support services to help them succeed academically, athletically and personally.
