Friday, May 5, a time capsule was buried on campus to mark the 50th anniversary of the college. The time capsule was organized by the Champlain Student Association (CSA) and FLIP and filled with notes and images created by students looking ahead to the future.
The student organizers set up a booth during Free Block and invited their peers to add their own element to the time capsule, filling it with student thoughts, photos and trinkets.
The time capsule may be retrieved on the 75th anniversary of the college, in 2048.
